Bio
I graduated in 2007 from the University of South Alabama. I began my teaching career at George Hall Elementary teaching fourth grade. I taught there one year before transferring to Fonde Elementary. This will be my fourteenth year here at Fonde. I taught fourth grade for five years, fifth grade for two years, and third grade for five years. Last year I accepted the job as Math Coach, but due to COVID, I did more TST work than anything. This year I decided to become the full-time TST here at Fonde, and I love it. I have been married for twenty-four years. My husband and I have four children, a twenty-nine year old son, twenty-four year old son, twenty-one year old daughter, and an eleven old son. We have moved around a great deal with my husband's work, so I have lived in several cities in Alabama as well as Lindale, TX; Barrie Ontario, Canada; and Douglas, WY. I took the 2012-2013 school year off to move to Wyoming, but I am officially back and have no plans of leaving. My husband and I agree that there is definitely no place like home!!! My hobbies include fishing, hunting, reading a good book, and spending time with my family.
